Blog post

These days, “global talent” has been a hot topic among the Japanese companies.  Recently I have been invited to talk on the subject of “Talent” very often by the Japanese companies and Japanese media.  In fact, I gave one this afternoon.

Another “hot” topic which is related to “global talent” is “diversity.”  I gave a talk on diversity management  at several occasions to the group of executives in the past several months.

I was also interviewed by the Economist few months ago on broad topic of what is going on in Japan.  Here is the link to the article “The land of wasted talent” in which my quote appears.

For global talent, my suggestion to the  executives who are interested in “developing global talent”, is to make the best of the people already located throughout the world working for the company. In the same way, what executives can do is to make sure that talent within  the company does not go wasted.  It is so simple to me.  All you need is to have a “WILL” to DO it.

  1. With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues
of plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of unique content I’ve
either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it
up all over the internet without my authorization. Do you know any techniques to
help prevent content from being stolen? I’d certainly appreciate it.
