The third day at Davos started with the Workspace Brainstorming session at 8:00 a.m. I was one of the co-facilitators for the session entitled “Entering the Era of Mobile Talent”. We had extensive meeting for preparation last night to go over the details. As we had two breakout sessions with some 50 people and three special guests, it required planning of details. I think it went well and we finished in time with good results. I was happy to have engaged the participants and have kept our energy up throughout the process. I had fun, facilitating the session. As I was quite nervous (this is a big assignment to facilitate the brainstorming session over 2 hours!), I had fun and learned quite a bit from the special guests and from the participants. I feel relieved!
Now I can relax a bit and can enjoy the rest of the Forum. I plan to go to lunch entitled CEO and social network, go to ideaslab session of Harvard University and several receptions tonight. As our days are long (it started at 7:30 a.m. and went on until 10:30 p.m. at night last night, as I had Japan Night to attend and the industry dinner!), we need to be physically and mentally tough! I think this is one of the requirement to operate globally today.
