I was fortunate to be invited to the TEDxTokyo event held at Hikarie tonight.  TEDxTokyo is one of my favorite events and I jumped on the invitation extended last week.  The event was for past speakers, sponsors etc.  We  had the fantastic performance of Yo Yo by Black.

TEDxTokyoIt has  been a few years since I got to know TEDxTokyo.  Reflecting back these few years, it is amazing how quickly the people  have become familiar and aware of  TEDx name  (few years ago, it was not known!) and the number of TEDx events in Japan just mushroomed.   I am so impressed with the energy of people who have made it happen. (Photo shows name tag we wrote our name and keywords for conversation. Stamped with TEDxTokyo logo.)

At Hikarie, I saw quite a few people who looked familiar.  Some  I met at the Swiss residence after the GEW 2012 event last week and others at the Roppongi Hills Club for the Japan Gender Parity Task force Launch event.

It was nice to continue conversation from last week, and at the same time, met with some new people.  They included people from Tokyu Agency, and of IDEO.  I also met with CEO of Coedo brewery known for the Coedo beer.  It was fun evening.
