FullSizeRender (13) (1)Since I came back from Dubai last week, I  have been invited dinner almost every night and have met with many interesting people. The first on Thursday, Nov. 13, was with IBM people who have supported me for my course on Strategy at KMD this past spring. (Photo on the left) The next was the opening reception of Innova, a contents marketing company which just moved to the new office.(Photo below)

FullSizeRender (33) (1)On Sunday, I had a chance to meet with people from San Francisco, and business people based now in Tokyo. Yesterday, I had a pleasure to have dinner with people from UNDP including Administrator Helen Clark, together with some Japanese friends.

All of these encounters have given me the chance to find out what is happening (people from Silicon Valley moving to San Francisco to change the culture of the city, Africa is full of potential as well as issues related to basic infrastructure, etc.) in the other parts of the world. At the same time, I share my views about what I see in Japan etc. as well as listen to how others see here (things I have not noticed myself..)

I feel very fortunate and privileged to be given these opportunities. Going overseas (NYC, Dubai ) for conferences etc. is exciting as you get exposure to other parts of the world and feel it yourself, but you can also meet with many interesting people here in Tokyo and have new discoveries, too. It is an exciting time!
