Blog post

This summer, my accommodation in Whistler, British Columbia was more complicated than the years before.  I stayed downtown Vancouver for three days when I landed YVR at the beginning of July as the place I rented from friend was not open until second week of July. (I lucked out as I went to Paul McCartney’s concert at BC place!) I also visited my friend from high school in Gibson right before I left for Japan at the end of July.

When I came back, I stayed at the nice place in Blackcomb, as the place my friends have were taken.  I liked the place I stayed at Blackcomb very much as I am more familiar with this area than Creekside where my friends place is located. (Photo on the left is Whistler at 5:30 am right before I boarded the bus to YVR to catch the flight to Brazil.)

After I spent a week in Brazil giving key note speech etc., I came back to the place in Creekside. (It was quite complicated!)  Renting a new place in the new area comes with a bit of suspense. Some you like and others not quite so. (Last year, I was not too fortunate!)

Whistler, British Columbia, stays my favorite summer place, as it is cool, sunny, close to nature and relaxing.  I will come back again next summer (I already made arrangement!) I will make the best of a few more days before I leave.  I made a brief iMovie about the two places I stayed. (I have uploaded Instagram and other photos on facebook, so this is limited to the places I stayed.) Here is it.
