This evening (June 25), we hosted SINCA expert session.  Unlike our usual Friday evening session, we decided to host the session on Tuesday,  right before the G20 summit in Osaka. We invited two experts- Tsuneo Watanabe of Sasakawa Peace Foundation and Tim Kelly of Reuters.  We wanted to find out how G20 was evolving and whether it is still relevant now that many bilateral negotiations are being held.

During the breakout sessions, the groups discussed what role we want PM Abe to play and whether the world would be divided (technologically driven) into two-dominated by the US for one and by China on the other, and if so which side we should take.  It was interesting discussion.  Will write more soon
