This evening (December 12), we hosted the session 21 of Davos Experience in Tokyo series. The topic was “reflecting 2014 and planning for 2015.”

First we asked each participant to pick up the English term describing the year 2014, and discuss within the small breakout groups.

Then we took the vote for the most important agenda for the year 2015, out of the items we found in “Outlook on the Global Agenda 2015”. The top issue participants picked was Future of Work. Then we asked each group to think of the ways to address the issue they think important.

It is by coincidence that I serve as a member of the Global Agenda Council on Future of Jobs and I shared some of our approach to the issue during the general discussion.

Report back from the groups was quite interesting as each has unique perspectives. More to come. So stay tuned.
