Blog post

This is the second visit to New York City in a month and I have covered most of usual things I do in this city, such as spending time with my family, meeting with friends, fixing my watch, taking care of variety of documents and some shopping during my last trip. So I was a bit at a loss as to what to do this trip (other than going to concerts & shows!)

My experience in the past several weeks (incl. trip to NYC) has made me realize that I need to figure out what I really  LIKE to do, as I met with some people who love what they do and how passionate they are.    I also learned a few lessons- 1. I almost force myself to get exposure to different things. 2. I need to take action, instead of think and/or try.

FullSizeRender (9)So I decided to do some museum visits this time. (I have always felt that I LOVE music, but not too interested in museums.)
I visited Museum of Art & Design on the first day. Though a part of the museum was closed for installation, the time I spent there was good. (I had been there before few times, but they change exhibitions often.)

This morning, I visited Metropolitan Museum of Art. I had been there few times before, but the place is so huge and exhibitions change often that I thought I would see some new exhibitions. There was a special exhibition on Cubism. I decided to visit this special exhibition first and thoroughly enjoyed it. I do not know much about art, but I know that I like most of the works of Cubism. It was interesting as I knew that I liked some items, but not others. I learned some about Cubism, too.

We will see whether this visit will give me any new ideas…
