Blog post

A few days ago, three university students came to visit me. One of them read the book “Building the World-Class Career”(in Japanese) I co-wrote with Dr. Kiyoshi Kurokawa and decided to send a note to Grameen bank.  The people at the bank responded, to his surprise, and he began getting involved with one of the project at the bank.

He wrote me a note several months ago, to which I responded. After several e-mail exchange, we finally met. (Two friends of his came with him.)  They told me about their activities in Bangladesh and the project with the Grameen bank.  I learned a lot from them.  They also asked me quite a few questions and we had wonderful time together.

Whenever I meet with young (at heart, not necessarily physical age!) people who are willing to try something new, I feel confident that the world will be a better place.  They will change the world and make it better.  (Photo shows four smiling faces.)
