detbar“Davos Experience in Tokyo” series began in 2013 and has been held every month in the past two years. At the session #21 (you can watch video)  in December 2014, we identified the critical issues/agenda for the year 2015 (it turned out to be “future of work”) and discussed how we could address this issue in the new year. (In fact, the Global Agenda Council on Future of Jobs -I am a member-has just finalized the survey to address this issue and will launch the study soon.)

The first session of the new year 2015 will be held on Friday, January 23, with Dr. Ken Endo, CEO of Xiborg, as our guest. The topic is “how we can create the society where everybody can move freely with the help of technology.” Ken is selected as Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and established the company for ambitious goal to develop prostheses and make them available to the world.

We want to develop creative and innovative ideas to ensure that all of us have mobility, regardless of age, physical condition, etc.
Many of you will know how important the mobility is for feeling free. Japan is rapidly ageing and mobility is one of the capabilities the elderly faces. Check our website for details.  Registration will open soon for you to join us on January 23.  So stay tuned.
