Wellness and health seems very important and “hot” in British Columbia.  I have noticed the gluten free food etc. in the past, but this year seems to be focusing more on plant-based meat.  British Columbia offers wide variety of fruits and vegetables as well as fish. I always eat berries-strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and cherries- and kale, arugula, baby spinach, etc. They are locally grown and at very reasonable price. (I still go to the Farmers market in Sundays, a little less enthusiastic about it than several years ago!)

This year, plant-based burger has been found at family restaurant chain and I have seen TV commercials several times.  So I decided to try and found the place that serves them. I also heard from friends that they sell at grocery store, and  found one(probably the last one?) in frozen section.  I was excited and tried to BBQ yesterday.  I put it between buns with onion, pickles and tomato (usual burger things).  It is good as is, (not necessarily like beef burger.)

I addition to healthy eating habit, I go to do workout at the gym every day.  Meadow Park sports center where I go every day in the past 10 years or so is now being renovated and I found the new place nearby.  It is new and has many new equipment, but I see a few people early morning. (I go to the circuit class 6 days a week at Meadow Park and have many friends there.)  I feel a bit lonely at the new place, but work out is fine. Summer in BC is how I keep myself healthy,,,,

Here is a brief iMovie I prepared discussing my healthy? lifestyle with friends…Enjoy.  (Voice over is in English.)
