Blog post

I got back from the  Global Women Leaders Summit 2017 held at the Roppongi Academy Hills. It  featured a key note speech by Professor Erin Meyer of INSEAD, and special speech by Yasuyuki Higuchi, chairman of Microsoft Japan. I moderated the panel discussion at the end with these two speakers and Ms. Akiko Naka of Wantedly.
It was one of the most difficult panel discussions I moderated.  In fact, one of the two hardest in Japan as I can recall. Though I read the paper, book, articles of the three panelists and am quite familiar with their thoughts/backgrounds etc., I was not able to find the area where they could come together and/or argue.

I learned quite a few Do’s and Don’ts,  So it was a good learning experience.  I want to thank you for the panelists and also to the people who came to the seminar.
