FullSizeRender (94)Sunday, August 13, was the day of Farmers market in Whistler. We went there around 11:00 to pick up vegetables-in particular zucchini which have become our favourite on BBQ grill, arugula (my favourite greens) and different kinds of berries.
After we walked around the area and my friends bought a few things (including the greeting cards which are very witty and funny), we settled on 1 crepe and 2 JEGGS. (JEGG is something like OKONOMIYAKI and it is one of the most popular food items at the Farmers market.)
IMG_0948Then we relaxed a while at our chalet, and decided to try some biking. (We also thought about kayaking and SUP at the Lakeside park, but decided to against it as we have rafting coming up.)
Biking was fun (we rented the bike for those with little experience, not the kind we see at Crankworx! and we went on to Valley FullSizeRender (93)Trail. It was very nice to ride along the trail and see some canoes and dogs in the water.
However, as we became so ambitious and attempted the route along the Lost Lake, we got lost (it 13920685_10210664235659505_966966985488665785_nwas so hilly and no paved road!). We managed to come back, picked up cold beer named Lost Lake and came home to our daily BBQ.
It was fun way to spend Sunday. Nice weather continues…
