Treewith KZYesterday, I helped my stepson’s family to decorate the Christmas tree. Then  I went to see Kandinsky at Guggenheim Museum up east with my another stepson.  I wanted to go visit the museum last time I was in NYC in October, but I could not make it.  So I was very much looking forward to this visit.

It was wonderful to see so many works by Kandinsky. It was quite amazing how his art has evolved. I also love Guggenheim museum, its architecture etc.  This is not the first time I visited the museum.

ChrdecDanceNYWhile I was walking around NYC, I came across with many holiday decorations for children.  I also found the band (Duke Ellington style) playing in the plaza nearby.  Quite a few people started dancing to the band. They all looked so happy.  It was such a nice scene.

Later in the evening, I went to Lincoln Center for the New York Phil concert at the Avery Fisher Hall.  They played Sinfonia by Mozart and Symphony No. 4 by Bruckner. It was beautiful and we were all very excited about it, in particular, the first piece by Mozart.

It is such a luxury that I can go to the concert at 8:00 p.m., and walk back in 15 minutes or so after 10:00 p.m. when the wind chill factor was about 5 below! Big Apple definitely has many things to offer.
