Yesterday, June 23, I took my step son and grandson to the Cup Noodle Museum of Nissin Foods where I serve as outside board member.

I visited the Museum before it opened and was very impressed with the concept and the “experience” people can have there.  So I arranged the visit.

R & Z (1)R & Z (2)We began with the video of the history of chicken ramen and took the quick tour. Then we joined the group to make chicken ramen from scratch.

It is very well designed with good combination of explanation, practice, and other creative work. All of us (i.e. my grandson, my stepson and myself) enjoyed it very much. (Photo on the left is father & son. On the right is me & my grandson)

After we spent 90 minutes making chicken ramen, we joined the group to make original Cup Noodle. That was fun, too.

3at terraceThen we went outdoor to the terrace overlooking the Tokyo Bay. (Photo on the left)
We finished the day with the visit and sampling of different kinds of noodles from the world.
It was a fun day and we were stuffed!
