FullSizeRender (73) Yesterday, April 6, I went to see the exhibition by Kunihiko Yazawa at White Ship gallery. I met with K. Yazawa and K. Hasebe, CEO of White Ship Inc.,  several years ago through our mutual friend and visited their gallery once at the old location.
It was very fortunate that I found out my pending invitation (on face book) to their opening reception yesterday and decided at the last minute to come. (I had thought that the talk -by another friend of mine- would start at 6:00 pm, so I missed it to go to dinner with another group as below.)
It was very nice to see both of them, and to my surprise, I came across with some old friends and met with new people, some of whom I had close encounters before (without knowing it.)

Art is very important, I feel, and am grateful that I had this opportunity to renew my interest.

So, yesterday was the new (renewed?) beginning of my two new worlds–art and sailing. As I decided to try something new in my second year of free-lancing, the new world has opened up for me. (Will write more soon, as new opportunities are opening up for me on the global scene, too!)
