Another essay competition…

I have found another great opportunity for young people to get exposed to the global agenda and build global network, while recognized as emerging leaders. This one focuses in Asia as a region, and the deadline is February 10. Its word limit is between 800 to 1500 words and you still have some time to think and write. For details, check this website.
I have written about St. Gallen Wing of Excellence Essay Competition whose deadline is coming this Friday. In fact, I have a meeting to discuss the event in Zurich the other day and I am all very excited!
I would like to encourage young people to apply for these opportunities. Unless you enter, you will never have a chance, (as in a lottery!) As you write to apply, your writing skills will get better. Go for it!

Dear Ishikura sensei, I admire your iniciatives to get more information and academic resources over the web. I am peruvian, now studying in Tsukuba University. I can see your very busy agenda, but I would like to have a meeting, if you want Skype, or email concerning about education in Japan, business and global opennesss and environment for foreigners. If it is possible, may I contact you by email? I would like to tell you my story. Kind regards,
Paloma B.
Dear Paloma, this is Yoko Ishikura. Thanks for your comment. My apology for very late response. We are hosting the Global Debate/ideaslab type workshop on Saturday, March 2 at Keio Hiyoshi campus. If you can join us then, it will be great.
