Blog post

Today August 13 was just about the first day in two weeks that we have clear and blue sky. It was also much cooler than yesterday at the about 15°Celsius (mid 50sF)
I talked to a lot of people at Starbucks and at the grocery store about the weather and everybody seem to be very happy, being able to see the blue sky after two weeks of smoke and heat wave.

I went to the sports center for my daily workout little after 6:00 a.m. Then, I went to the service at the Catholic Church in Whistler.
After that, I went to the Farmers’ market to pick up different kinds of berries(strawberry, cherry, blueberry, and raspberry), different kinds of greens (spinach, lettuce-looks quite different from regular ones, and arugula) .

Crankworx, the biggest mountain bike event probably in Canada, has been held in Whistler since Friday and there are many people out. Many events for the mountain bikes and different kinds of music are held outdoor.
People (including me) wear long pants and jacket instead of shorts & T shirt seen the last few days where it was over 30°C (80s F). It was quite drop in temperature, typical of Canada. Here is a short video.
