header_logo_en_mdYesterday afternoon (October 6), I went to hear the 40th anniversary symposium of Foreign Press Centre of Japan. I had given some briefings and was asked for the interviews by foreign journalists through this organization and was invited to this event.
img_1549I had planned to go to the reception only as I had a class. But then I found out that Ai Sugiyama, professional tennis player and panelist for the workshop I am to moderate at the World Forum on Sports & Culture on October 21 would be the guest of talk show and one of the panelists.

It was interesting as I really did not know much about the field. (I do workout every day, but do not know much about sports/athletes world.)
I introduced myself to Ai Sugiyama, among others and joined the reception, too. (There I saw Kansai Yamamoto after many years-we served on the advisory board of design school before.) I felt it is always nice to get exposed to a different field from your own.
