IMG_0253This afternoon, (Sunday, June 19) I went back to Blue Rose Suntory Hall, for the concert by the faculty member of the Chamber Music Academy. I met with K. Isomura on Tuesday backstage after the concert and hear about this concert. I am grateful that I got invited to the concert today. (I was in the second row in the center!)
it was a very interesting program as Isomura san mentioned. They started with two duo of violin, and then added viola to play Dvorak. Adding one instrument after another, they went on to play Beethoven in the form of quartet with violin, viola, cello and piano..
IMG_0249At the then they had quitet with two violins, viola, cello and piano by Cesar Frack.
It was a very nice /interesting program and I realize that I really do love strings and the chamber music.
After the concert, I joined musicians and other guests as if it were reunion get-together. I hope this type of chamber music is offered even more so that people can enjoy classical music concerts at reasonable price for a few hours on weekends.
It was such a rich way to spend Sunday afternoon and I am grateful for the opportunity.
