Auction at ICS
Yesterday, we had annual ICS auction. Since a few years ago, the items post for auction are usually “experience” rather than “goods.” Auction also consists of live version and silent version. The live version began at 4:00 p.m. at ICS campus and all of us made a bid. The amount of money raised has not been announced yet, but it is always fun event.
The items for the silent version are posted on the whiteboard at the same place with that of live auction. Anybody can make a bid for the items for silent version. (To be precise, some items are available for students only.)
Items for live auction include the ski trip with the faculty members, trip to Tsukiji fish market with Sushi breakfast, etc. etc. As the auction is usually held around the time of Halloween, many people come in costumes. Students as well as the faculty and staff have a great time. (We have so many talented people who can MC auction process so well!–see Photo, more to come, hopefully) Let us see how much we have raised!
