Congratulations, Dr. K!
I finally read the article on Dr. Kiyoshi Kurokawa winning the American Academy for the Advancement of Science Award. I still have not been able to find the news on the website of AAAS, yet, but I know that AAAS is the non-profit organization publishing the Science.
I have heard of his winning something, but was not quite sure which one it was. As I had a chance to talk with him over the phone right before he left for Singapore few days ago, I realized it was the award by the AAAS.
Congratulations! The ceremony will be held in February in Boston.
He was also featured in the interview article on the evening edition of Nihon Keizai Shimbun on Saturday (November 17) in Japanese where he discussed the importance of having people of diverse background etc.
It has been my pleasure and honor to have a chance to work with him at Science Council of Japan, and more recently on Global Agenda Council among other things.
